Message from the Membership Committee

We are here for you: The membership committee is comprised of six ACHNE members. Five of the members represent specific regions, while the sixth member works with the regional members and chairs the committee. The regional members are assigned to the following regions: Kelly Strickland-southern , Katie McElroy-northern, Suzanne Keep-Midwest, Julie Postma-western and Remi Odejumo-international. The member at large is Flo Weierbach.

ACHNE  members want to hear from you-the membership committee is challenging each of you to share you and your student’s accomplishments. So many of you have done or are currently providing unique clinical opportunities that improve your local community- tell us about them and consider publishing them both within the local news outlets and in professional journals. As we all know the sharing that occurs among members at the Annual Institute, the resources available to members such as Innovative Teaching strategies and the representation we have with CPHNO are valuable as many of us face daily challenges to demonstrate the value of community health nursing. Share the benefits of ACHNE with your peers within your nursing program and how ACHNE assists you to be the best you can be for the students in your nursing program.
